I received my queen sized terry cloth mattress protector and was pleasantly surprised. It was much bigger than I expected. It has a wider band around it so that it can fit over the pillow top mattresses also. It feels very soft not hard at all.

 

 

 

 I slept on it last night and it was the best sleep I've had in a long time. This mattress protector protects against dust mites, allergens, and fluids. I have included a video to show you more on. And the price was very reasonable.

The activated charcoal came in a large 8 ounce bag. It is a very fine powder.

Activated charcoal is very messy but it is excellent for many things. I used it to make natural eyeliner and mascara, and also 2 different types of facial masks.

 

It can also be used for people who have taken poison by mouth and overdoses. It can be used as a detoxifier and tooth whitener. I have also read on medical website that it can be used to whiten your teeth. I was afraid to try that but it is a natural ingredient in some handmade soaps as well.

 

This activated charcoal has a very fine consistency. A little goes a long way. I received this product either free or at a discounted rate to give an honest review from my point of view. I was happy with it and it worked well.

 

This is used in the health and beauty communities often. I have included the recipe for the facial mask below. It is very good for cleansing the face. A little goes a long way. When mixing it, use a 1 to 1 ratio.

 

Activated Charcoal Facial Mask

 

1 tsp charcoal

1 tsp coconut oil

1 tsp water

1 tsp honey

 

Mix into a paste and apply to face. Leave it on the face for about 30 minutes.

To remove the mask use a dark colored towel or one you do not care about destroying.

The charcoal will stain the towel and anything that comes in contact with it.

Remove the mask with a warm damp cloth.

Make sure to moisturize your face after cleansing with the mask.

This was the picture that inspired me to go for it...

I TOOK MY ROOM FROM THIS:

 

 

Above my room is dull but starts to slowly take shape as I use inexpensive

dollar store items to give it a quick and easy makeover...

 

 

Here are the items I used:

 

A long black curtain rod

2 Sheer curtains

1 box small lights

 

 The first thing I did was measure where I wanted to place the curtain rod. Next I put up the brackets for the curtain rod. After making sure it was placed where I needed it then I proceeded to cut my sheer curtain panel. I thought that one would be wide enough but it was not. I cut it in half to make two but it came up a little short. It would have worked better with 2 sheer panels. 

 

I then placed the panels on the curtain rod and hung it in place. Once it was secure, I proceeded to hang the lights around the rod. I wrapped the plug part on the curved end of the rod so it would be hidden in the corner then attached it with a wire wrapper that usually comes on a bread loaf. I repeated that on the other end and allowed the lights to hang in the middle then also attached another tie in the middle.

 

Voila!! My make over is complete...hahaha

I really liked these sheets. They were very soft to me. I put them on my bed and really liked how they felt to my skin. I read other reviews that talked about the quality and what others felt but I can only tell you how they felt to me. I did not find them to be wrinkle-free but they were larger than the sheets I normally use. I was happy with my purchase.
